General • pgf missed package

Hi all,
I am working on a presentation using beamer and I would like to display a series of images with a specified delay. I found the following code:

Code:  •  Open in writeLaTeX
\frame{
\only<1>{
\begin{centering}
  \pgfimage[scale=.5]{fish1.jpg}
  \par
\end{centering}}

\transduration<2>{5}

\only<2>{
\begin{centering}
  \pgfimage[scale=.5cm]{fish2.jpg}
  \par
\end{centering}}

\transduration<3>{5}

\only<3>{
\begin{centering}
 \pgfimage[scale=.5cm]{fish3.jpg}
 \par
\end{centering}}
}

I got a message error that I missed a required package.
Can anyone tell me the suitable package for that?
Thank you!

General • Re: LaTeX => PS => PDF

I got this error also “Theres was an error opening this document. This file can not be found”. What I did is changing the command line argument in the viewer tab from “%bm.ps” to “%bm.pdf”. Thanks

Feature Suggestions • Show paragraphs in the project outline

Good day,

I am wondering if TeXnicCenter is designed to show “paragraphs” in the project outline tree?
It very nicely shows chapters, sections, subsections and subsubsections, but not paragrpahs or subparagraphs.
Is there some setting that allows one to set how deep the project outline structure is? Am I missing something?

Or should I report this under “feature request”?

Thank you for your time and help.

General • Re: Compilation works fine in TeXworks, not in TeXnicCenter

I found the problem. BTW, this problem appeared in other ocasions. If someone is facing problems with this, my fix for Win7 was:

  • delete TeXNicCenter;
  • delete MiKTeX;
  • install TeXNicCenter on c:\TeXNicCenter;
  • install MiKTeX on c:\MiKTeX;

I had problems with the path c:\program files during some tests. Probably this was due to the space between ‘program’ and ‘files’.

Jaraqui

Press <STRG + R>, type cmd and hit enter. A black box should open; now type the name of the executable (you might have to look it up in a link) and hit enter again. TXC should start.

Do you know anybody using LaTeX? This could be something fixed within 2 minutes when sitting just in front of the machine.

An alternative to TXC could be txstudio

Ok, I wasn’t sure that terminal = command prompt. Launching TXC from the command prompt/terminal works. But double clicking it works, too. It isn’t until I try to open a tex file or try to create a project that TXC shuts down.
I don’t know anybody who is familiar with TXC. So I decided to switch to TexMaker. That seems to works just fine so far.
Anyhow, thanks for chiming in.

You are not telling us which version of TexnicCenter you are using.

I advise you to do as every Wind0ws user often does. Uninstall the program, reboot your system and install texniccenter again. Be aware, that TXC 2.0 is stable and should be used without hesitating over version 1.0

If the problem persists, try to open the program via the terminal, i hope there will be some useful information. The maintainer would be greateful for feedback: Texniccenter support.

TexnicCenter 2.02 64Bit. But I also tried with the 32 Bit version.
Uninstalling and rebooting didn’t help. How do I go about creating a TexnicCenter project via the command line? Or what do you mean with “terminal”?
